The idea of a soup cookbook began as a way to raise money for a water project designed to increase the amount and quality of the water in Hedaru. It was inspired by our love of Supu, or African Stew, as we called it on our visits, and our love of the Lenten Soup Supper tradition at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. It was a match made in heaven! Thanks to all who donated soup recipes to make this book happen.
