Information: I've always been fascinated by Africa and have had a desire to go there and learn more about the culture, so it was a perfect fit for me to take on the leadership of this group. Once our relationship with Hedaru started, I soon found that while we began thinking we were going to help and teach them, they had just as much to teach us. It truly has become a partnership. We are building lasting friendships and working together in the village to do things to benefit the people that neither one of us could ever do alone. It is the most exciting and fulfilling thing I've ever done, and I hope there will never come a time when I have to give it up. It's amazing!
