Connecting Hedaru, Tanzania, and Ames, Iowa

Welcome to Tanzania Partners!

Tanzania Partners is a ministry of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Ames, Iowa, working on humanitarian projects in the Hedaru Ward of the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania in East Africa.

Along with our partners in Tanzania, the Hedaru Lutheran Parish, we have just finished a four-year $125,000 water project that has brought water to 22,000 people!

A delegation of seven people from St. Andrew's will visit in August to officially hand the project over to the village, and celebrate with the people who have made this all possible.
